I’m a PhD candidate in the sociology department at Columbia University. I study tech labor; how tech workers do work, and how labor organizing is done in the industry. I’m particularly interested in software engineers’ labor organizing and collective actions. My dissertation is about the introduction of AI coding tools to software engineers’ workplaces, and the shifting power landscape inside of tech companies.
